Thank you for choosing to book with Barry House. We look forward to
welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with
us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Booking Terms
These
Booking Terms apply to Barry House, our officers, employees and agents
(‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the Booking or to
whom We supply services in respect of the Booking (‘You/Your’). These
Booking Terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings except
where We agree in writing other terms. By making a Booking You are deemed
to accept these Booking Terms. Please note bookings made on different web
sites may be booked with different conditions.
Bookings
Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when
We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when We
have confirmed your reservation and charged/received a deposit payment of
one night's stay. The balance will be paid by You to Us on check-in.
You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over
18yrs to make a Booking (Bookings may be accepted on behalf of teenagers
in certain circumstances).
Bookings must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit
card. Please contact Us for alternative means of payment.
Credit Cards
All credit card transaction must be made by the cardholder or with the
cardholders permission (in the latter case an email, fax or letter from
the card holder authorising the transaction is required)
Credit card transactions with a Visa or Mastercard issued outside the UK
will be made in the issuing country's currency using the DCC (direct
currency change) system. Please let us know if you wish to be charged in
Pounds Sterling.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made 4 days before the booked arrival time. To make
a cancellation You must call us on +44 20 7723 7340 and give your name and
check-in date and have details of Your credit or debit card available.
There is an administration charge of £10.00 for cancellations made giving
4 days notice.
No refund will be given for any Cancellations made giving less than 4 days
notice.
Prices
The price of the accommodation includes the use of the following:
Electricity, linen, towels, cleaning, hot water, central heating.
Rates are per room per night and include a English Breakfast, Service and
VAT (tax) at the current rate.
Rates are per room per night. If You have selected supplements they will
be added to the total price of the Booking. Rates do not include other
costs you may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights
and dates shown. Should You change the number of guests, dates or room
nights, then the rates are subject to change. All rates are subject to
change.
Availability
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver
Your requested accommodation, You will be offered alternate accommodation.
Arrival and departure
Check-in time after 1 p.m. Check-out time: 10.30am. We can keep reasonable
amounts of luggage for you before check in and after check out.
Amendments
To amend or Cancel Your Booking, call Us directly.
Payment
We will charge a deposit payment of one night's stay to make a
reservation. The balance will be paid by You to Us on check-in.
All additional goods and services purchased during your stay must be paid
in full on check-out.
Conditions of stay
We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply
with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and
to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. If you would like to
check our conditions of stay please contact us.
We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being
liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable
behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
Pets
Sorry, we do not allow pets at
this property.
Acceptance of Children
We welcome children of all
ages.
Non Smoking Premises
Barry House is a non-smoking
building. It is against the law to smoke in the premises and offenders
could be reported to the relevant authority. If there is evidence of
smoking in the guest rooms, we reserve the right to charge a fee
equivalent to one night's stay so that the room may be cleaned and aired
before the next guest.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying
in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or
damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask
is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge
for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making
good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an
additional charge of £50 if you did not report this.
Liability
Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or
misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of
the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are
excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect
or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the
failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control. You are
responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or our Our property by
Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and
to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy
any such damage or loss.
Data protection
We may process the information You provide to Us for the purposes notified
by Us to the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to
this processing of information.
Privacy
policy
This website does not automatically store or capture
personal information, but merely logs your IP address, which is
automatically recognised by the web server.
We do not use 'cookies' for collecting user information. This means
that we do not leave text files on your computer so that we can keep notes
on you.
We do not pass on any personal information you have given us to
any other site. The system will record your email address, and other
information if volunteered to us by you. This will be treated as
proprietary and confidential. It may be used to respond to your query or
to notify you about updates about the Barry House.
The website contains some links to other websites. This privacy
policy applies only to our site. You should always be aware when you are
moving to another site and read the privacy statement of any site which
collects personal information
The management
reserves the right to change these terms or rates at short notice.
